"As a private investigator, I thought I might like to add fugitive recovery to my business. This book was excellent. This book is a must read if you are considering the business. It is in depth and details the down side of the business as well as the good side. Don't think you can pick up what you need about the fugitive recovery business from TV or the movies. This book will help keep you safe and legal."

Capt. Bart, Cartersville, GA - December 3, 2009

"Ok,
This is the best book I have ever read for ANYONE who is truly serious about getting into the bail bonds industry. I thought I knew quite a bit, being I am a certified bail agent, and will be working Bail in August (my state requires a license to do so) but I learned so much more that I hope to put to practical use. The book itself is full of good information not that cowboy crap you may read in some others or see on TV. That is not how real bounty hunting is in todays society. This book is well worth the price, and the experiance Mr. Venator has behind him, and his team now (of who I know and have spoken to, they are some of the best at what they do.) I would truly reccomend this to any one who is serious, it could give you a leg up and really give you a look into the world of bail bonds and if you feel you are really wanting to do this for a living."

J. Boehm "Bounty Hunter" - May 5, 2009

"For anyone wanting information into the fugitive recovery and bail enforcement field, this book is a great start. Rex Vinator (author) gives great insight into the new laws governing bail enforcement. I think this book is the best book in its class towards starting a business in the recovery business. After reading this book I went out and caught my first skip after only three weeks. GET THIS BOOK."

By J. Hartzell

"I have spent years in the legal system as a cop, corrections officer, security officer, and now the owner of a Bail Bond and Private Investigations agency. I read the book expecting to hear the same old stuff that wouldn't apply to my state or the obvious that I had already learned from my own experience. I was happy to see that this book provided information that did help in my own business and that the author gave a lot of good advice that applied to any state that you might work in. All in all I think that this book is a good read for new agents and veteran agents alike."

"The book is a 'by the numbers' manual on how to become a Bounty Hunter. It is what it is, but I think I was looking for more of a story, or anecdotal book."

By D. C. Smith "Book Doc" (Eagan, MN United States)

"I bought "Modern Bounty Hunting" because I am writing a series of suspense novels in which the main character is a doctor turned bounty hunter.Yes, you heard me correctly. Keep your eyes peeled on Amazon. Anyway, I didn't want my sole resource for the book to be "Dog the Bounty Hunter." I enjoy the show by the way, but I needed more nuts and bolts information, and this book has it. The author is an active Bail Recovery Agent. The practice is legal in most states. It's a tough way to make a living and it's not for everyone. If you were thinking of picking bounty hunting as a career, read this book before you send your two weeks notice in."

"I am writing a series of books about a bounty hunter and I needed a better source of information than reality TV shows. This book covers every aspect of bounty hunting form getting the contract to booking your fugitive. Rex Venator gives you an inside look at the industry and just how dangerous it can be. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants an in-depth look at Bail Fugitive Recovery."
